-
Our metadata processing service ingests, normalizes and deduplicates customer works, recordings, products and their related artists, composers, other creators and publishers.
This means, titles, featured artists, writer names (first-last vs. last-first) and codes are all normalized and cleansed so they’re ready for matching.
Our services are compatible with: DDEX ERN, CWR, XLSX or CSV and transform datasets into the Verifi data framework as a client-specific dataset.
-
Our metadata enrichment service uses anonymised VRDA client data and third party datasets to provide additional work, recording, product, and/or creator metadata, depending on specific customer needs and the data available
This means, for example, helping Publishers fill in Recording Titles & Artists for an ISRC, or helping Labels fill in writer information like IPIs.
-
Our work-recording matching service finds and delivers both existing and new work-recording pairs to clients from across the Verifi platform.
We also provide matching for products to ISRCs to enrich publishing databases.
Match notifications are provided regularly, depending on the service level selected.
-
Core to our value proposition for clients is our scoring and validation engine. New and existing metadata and work-recording pairs are analysed regularly to keep matches up to date by scoring and validating existing and potential matches using the anonymised datasets available to Verifi. Our engine is able to validate matches both within an entity type, e.g., works-to-works or recordings-to-recordings, or across entities, e.g., works-to-recordings. These validated datasets are used to create a collaborative superset of music industry metadata.
